Time Management and Well-Being for Faculty: Start off the new semester with strategies to develop a time management routine that supports your well-being. During this workshop session, we will explore strategies for improving time management and prioritization.
Dr. Amy B. Chan Hilton’s Bio
Dr. Chan Hilton serves as the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and Director of the Office of Sponsored Projects and Research at the University of Southern Indiana (USI). She also is a Professor of Engineering. Her current work focuses on faculty development in teaching and scholarship, along with institutional change in supporting learner-centered and inclusive instructional practices that contribute to student retention and success.
Prior to joining USI in 2015, Amy served as a Program Director at the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the Division of Undergraduate Education and Engineering Education and Centers, where she worked in multiple STEM education and research programs. She also served as Associate Chair and was on the faculty in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering. She earned a PhD from the University of Virginia and BS and MS degrees from MIT in environmental and civil engineering.
